Music for your wedding
Weddings are special celebratory occasions. They are times at which the love of a couple is made official by legal bonding and the signing of a marriage certificate. As with most celebrations however, there is music.
Music is known for its relaxing effect on persons. It has the ability to invoke a series of emotions depending on events associated with a certain type of music, memories or simply the type of music. Each types of music will invoke a different emotion in each person depending on his or her emotional state at the time, as well as his or her preference as to what to listen to. With this in mind, one has to be cautious as well as individually expressive when choosing music to play at a wedding. It may be difficult to balance both, but it has to be done.
Music at the ceremony itself may best be slow and melodic. One can play a soothing instrumental. At the dinner or reception, the song to which the bride and groom dances should obviously be one they both like and can relate to. Depending on the type of guests present at the wedding reception, one can play particular genres to fit. It is also advisable to play music to which one can dance in an effort to match the celebratory nature of the occasion. (You can read more here.)
